Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) bagged an industry distinction in the Gold category at the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) for delivering outstanding healthcare services during the year 2013.

The event, held under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, drew the attendance of  regional and international thought leaders and experts from diverse sectors. 

Mohamed Hawas Al Sadid, Acting Chief Executive Officer at AHS, said: “Winning this award among 35 other organizations in the UAE reaffirms our commitment to providing quality services in the healthcare sector across Abu Dhabi. I would like to thank the AHS management and employees for achieving this milestone that articulates their relentless hard work and dedication to fulfilling the vision of the organization.”

He added: “In 2012, AHS was the first organization to receive network accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI) globally and we anticipate many more exceptional achievements in the coming years.”
