Ambulatory Healthcare Services announces the opening of a new Disease Prevention and Screening Center in Sweihan

​Abu Dhabi, April 15, 2012 - Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS), a SEHA HealthSystem Facility, announced the opening of a new Disease Prevention and Screening Center (DPSC) in Sweihan on Sunday April 15.

 

The new center, located next to Sweihan Health Center, will provide visa screening services to the community from Sunday – Thursday 7 AM to 3 PM.

 

Commenting on the center’s opening, Mr. Rashid Saif Al Qubaisi, Chief Executive Officer, said “The opening of the new center in Sweihan comes in line with SEHA’s directions to provide UAE Nationals and residents in Abu Dhabi Emirate with easy access to the highest quality ambulatory healthcare services. The new Disease Prevention & Screening Center will facilitate access to visa screening services not only for the Sweihan community but also for the communities of Al Hayer, Al Faqa, and Al Shuaib.”

 

The new center expands the reach of AHS’s Disease Prevention and Screening Centers network further. AHS currently has 8 screening centers located across the Emirate in Abu Dhabi, Mussafah, Al Ain, Madinat Zayed, Delma, Sela, Geyathi, and Al Marfa. The centers are specialized units offering communicable disease screening and prevention services across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
